Annual Golf Tournament

On Monday, February 17th, the San Jose Rotary held its Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser.  Monies raised from this event will go toward assisting Seamark Ranch, Grace Ministry, and the Field of Dreams with their efforts to make for a better world. 

 

We had 3 major sponsors: Roy Miller and Assoc., Nimnicht Family of Dealerships, and JP Perry Insurance as indicated in the sign in photo RC01. We had 19 foursomes come out and enjoy the good weather and the fellowship  (See photos RC002, C003, and RC03). 

 

Behind the scenes were very dedicated volunteers (See photo RC 001). There was a new car available for anyone who made a hole in one but there was no winner (photo RC 10).  After golf there was a terrific BBQ dinner for everyone to enjoy (photo RC 30). 

 

There was also a fantastic silent auction with wonderful selections from a week's stay at a 5-star resort, tickets to the TPC, tickets to the Jaguars, and several certificates to play outstanding golf courses around our area (photo RC31).  Finally, there was an awards ceremony (Photo RC38). 

 

First place Gross went to Steve Farmand's Foursome, and first place Net went to John Curtin's foursome. All in all, it was a great day and the funds we earned will go towards helping make the world a better place.  Enjoy perusing the rest of the photos and thanks to all the participants.
