See you back when the regular season of the NFL kicks off on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

RULES: The Pool Finale

The Super Bowl Pool will function much like our weekly pool. Players shall pick a winner and a final total of points. To ensure a winner for the pool, we will have (4) tiebreakers so that we will have a winner.  Which will require all players to not only pick a final point total, but all so list the total points scored by both teams in the first and second quarters. The second quarter score will be a combined total of both the first and second quarter points scored. Finally, each player will be assigned a number from our Player worksheet. In the event we still do not have a winner based on a roll-over, we will determine the winner by a raffle system. Each player's number will be placed in a bowl, and a number will be chosen by Theresa Hazel (blind folded).

So, THE WINNER must select the winning team. If more than one person has selected the winning team. We will go to the tie-breakers.

Tiebreaker 1: Pick the final point total or be the closest to the final number without going over. If there is a tie, either on the exact number or the closest to without going over, the pot is split between the winners. If all players are over, we go to tie breaker two.

Tiebreaker 2: the total number of points scored in the first quarter, without going over. If two people tie, the pot splits. If no winner is decided, we move to tiebreaker 3.

Tiebreaker 3: The total points scored by both teams at halftime. If there is a tie, the pot splits. If no one wins, we go to the final tiebreaker.

Tiebreaker 4: Each player will have an assigned number on the play sheet. The numbers will be placed in a container, Thresa Hazel will be blind folded, spun around three times, steadied, and asked to pick a winner. After she picks the winner, she will be resuscitated with a Cosmo, and the winner will be announced.

One last twist: If the winner picks the winning team and picks the final point total on the number, the club will match the winning pot. Meaning if the pot is set at $400, the winner would receive $800, only if the number picked is the number scored.

Good luck to all, enjoy the game, and thank you all for your participation.
