RULES:

THE SJRC POOL 

 

1. This will be a weekly 50/50 football pool that will run for 18 weeks of the NFL regular season, and there will be a follow-on playoff pool.

2. Cost to play:  $20.00 per submission per week.

3. Submissions will be due every Sunday by noon. 

4. The process:

• There will be three games chosen each week. Of the games chosen, select a winning team for each game.

• Submit a total point total for the six teams playing

•  To be eligible for the winning pot, the winner must have selected all three winners of the three games chosen. 

•  If there are multiple players with 3 winners selected, the following tie-breakers will apply in order. 

  • 1st tie-breaker: The total number of points for the six chosen teams combined.

  • 2nd tie-breaker: Closest to the total number of points without exceeding the total number.

  • Still no winner, the players with three wins split the pot. 

• If there are no players who select the three winners, the pot will roll over to the next week. If there are no winners in week 18, the pot will roll into the playoff pot.

    5. The pot will be a 50/50 split of the money collected each week and any rollover funds from the previous week.  

  

You can participate on our website (encouraged).  We are also accepting cash payments, which can be hand-delivered to a member of SJRC, or paid by VENMO at SJRCPOOL. The easiest way to play is to Pay in advance, $360 payable to San Jose Rotary Club Charitable Fund.
